Traveling the globe has shaped who I am.

I started Milk + Honey Travels in order to collaborate with adventure-seeking individuals that value experiences and understand that small touches provide a significant impact. My work description includes touring the world, which is the most exciting aspect of my employment.

After graduation, I became a professional track and field athlete and traveled the world to compete, which sparked my desire for seeing the world. Through that employment, I was able to see and

discover the world in a manner that was not possible for me as a child. I saw and traveled to more than 30 countries during those ten years, all while doing what I loved. The greatest blessing was that.

I can’t image who I would be without it since it has shaped so many aspects of who I am. As a result, my favorite thing to share with people is travel.

It all started when.....

A 12-year-old walked into a small town travel agency with her Dad to book their family vacation.

The pictures of exotic, distant places on the wall were captivating to someone who had never traveled outside of the Midwest! Before I knew it, I was “working” (also known as volunteering) there after school. taking phone calls, organizing documents, and searching for flights.

Yes, I used to do my own vacation planning for free since I liked it so much! Keep it a secret from Bri.

Ten years later, I took a college course in Europe for the first time and fell in love.

You know how it feels to have everything fall into place? That’s Europe and me.

For this anglophile soul, London was truly my only choice when I made the decision to complete my MBA. I traveled to California, met Bri, and the rest is history. I met my now husband there, when he was traveling alone around Europe and Asia for six weeks.

My entire identity has been fashioned by travel, and I enjoy sharing that with fellow Milk & Honey Travelers!

the latest addition to the Milk + Honey Travels team!

Since I left the Philippines when I was fourteen years old, travel has played a significant role in my journey. In my trip, I have gone from studying Italian at a dinner table with a host family in Italy to working with women from a tiny Indonesian hamlet to come up with ideas for promoting social entrepreneurs.

My travels have given me experiences and contacts that have greatly influenced how I see the world and helped to define who I am now.

Because of this, you’ll constantly find me trotting across the world (for personal growth *wink*), with South America as my next stop!

My goal today is to generate those “wow” moments and build amazing tales and unique memories for our Milk & Honey Travelers because I want our customers to have stories they will treasure for a lifetime!

What type of traveler are you—adventure seeker, relaxation enthusiast, or culture explorer?

Kelsey: A culture vulture with a healthy dose of rest. My ideal day would include a quick tour in the morning and a relaxed afternoon spent sipping coffee or sipping wine at a neighborhood cafe.

Bri I love to unwind, but I also have an adventurous side. I’m not scared to try anything new, but it better not interfere with my time to relax and read a book!
